With enthusiasm and anticipation,
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my privilege and great pleasure, on behalf of the Hydrocephalus Society, to invite you to join us for the 18th World Hydrocephalus Congress, which will be held in the vibrant city of São Paulo in 2026.
Since its foundation, our Society served as the global home for all professionals committed to the study and treatment of hydrocephalus and related cerebrospinal fluid disorders. Over the years, we have witnessed extraordinary growth—not only in scientific knowledge and clinical practice, but also in the strength of our community. Today, the Hydrocephalus Society represents a unique platform where neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, geriatricians, rehabilitation specialists, basic scientists, and patient advocates can meet and collaborate to advance care for people of all ages living with hydrocephalus.
The annual World Congress stands as the pinnacle of our shared mission. It is here that innovative research is presented, new collaborations are forged, and the next generation of investigators and clinicians is supported and celebrated. We are particularly proud of initiatives such as the Young Investigators Award and our ongoing educational activities, which continue to nurture excellence and inspire future leaders in the field.
